It is only with the amazing and incredibly generous support of our community that we are able to operate with state of art and cutting edge safety and fire fighting equipment to protect your families and ours. The Sauk City Volunteer Fire Department holds various fundraisers throughout the year for the purpose of updating and upgrading life saving equipment.
One of the most impactful purchases made through fundraising was our new Utility 6 in 2025. This 2025 F-350 replaced our 2001 Chevy Suburban that had been in service for the 25 years. This truck serves as the main tow vehicle for our UTV and boat while also responding to grass fires, traffic incidents, structure fires, and more.
We are proud to say that every dollar that went towards the purchase of this apparatus, including the truck, accessories, lighting, and decals (roughly $88,000), was raised by your Sauk City Firefighters through fundraising efforts. This could not have been done without the backing of our communities, and we are extremely grateful for your support.

Annual Raffle
Starting several years ago, the fire department has held several raffles including the Gun Raffle, the Fish, Hunt and Farm raffle, and the Get Outdoors Raffle! It has grown into an annual raffle with prizes including cash, firearms, and gift donations from several local businesses. Tickets cost $20 and can be bought from any firefighter. Check out our Facebook to see updates posted about the current raffle. Ticket sales typically start around March, with the drawing falling later in the year during the months of September-October.



Annual Fall Mailing
In October of every year, we send out an annual letter to all residents within our Fire Protection area. In the letter, we inform residents of the events that occurred during the year in the fire department and give thanks for their generosity and continued support. We provide an opportunity for residents to donate to our organization to assist in purchasing new, state-of-the-art life-saving equipment for our community. We are beyond blessed with the generosity of the community and we truly could not do this without their support. Come October, look in your mailboxes for our annual letter, and thank you for you support!
